ASHEY DOWN nr. RYDE

Snow covers the ploughed fields and Ashey Down in the distance. The plough lines make a very interesting graphic pattern. I waited for clouds to darken the foreground and leave the rest of the fields lit up by the sun.

In the foreground there is a young couple walking and enjoying a day off in the rare snows that visit this island.

At the top of Ashey Down Navigation Sea Mark Monument there are other people enjoying the snow ~ you can just make them out?
